Learn the art of being alone and reconnect with yourself. This three-night psychology-based retreat integrates science and ancient wisdom to help you develop genuine emotional regulation, unlock dormant creativity, and discover that stillness and boredom are not emptiness — they’re pathways to clarity, insight, and self-connection.

Through experiential exercises designed to be challenging yet safe, you’ll practice emotional regulation in real time, not just learn about it. You’ll explore the neuroscience of boredom and the default mode network (why your best ideas come when you stop trying), alongside somatic practices and meditation techniques rooted in traditional wisdom. The work helps you regulate your nervous system, develop the capacity to sit with difficult emotions, improve your ability to truly listen, and recognise productivity culture’s grip on your wellbeing.

Led by an advanced integrative psychotherapist trainee, meditation coach, and yogi, this retreat bridges scientific rigour with contemplative practice. With daily yoga and breath-work, four therapeutic sessions, and one individual therapy session, you’ll leave with practical tools for emotional regulation, deeper self-awareness, and the recognition that being alone isn’t loneliness, it’s coming home to yourself.
In an intimate group of 8, surrounded by Somerset countryside, you’ll discover genuine rest, reconnect with your creativity, and learn that self-connection is the foundation for everything else.
